8 out of 12. I mixed up ‘Cobb’ and ‘The Natural’, and the two kids movies- ‘The Rookie’ and ‘Bad News Bears’.
Great quiz. I’m as big a movie and baseball nerd as you’ll ever find. There are almost too many good quotes to count. Just about everything that Harry Doyle said would qualify. Mickey Mantle/Thomas Jane’s quote in 61*, early on, where he’s comparing his prowess with the ladies to Babe Ruth, gets me every time.
Good job. Now that you mention it, I see why one might put the “Cobb” quote with “The Natural,” as the “Cobb” quote seems like something The Whammer might have said. Yes, there are so many good quotes (and there was one by Harry Doyle in an earlier draft), but I didn’t want to make the quiz too long — although maybe there will be a sequel in the future.
